Monte Carlo Beach

A 1930s legend revisited by India Mahdavi. Delving in the history of the Monte-Carlo Beach in order to reveal its true essence, she has restored the hotel’s true vocation: welcome the first guests of summer in the intimate setting of a seaside villa.

For the Monte-Carlo Beach, Mahdavi envisioned a timeless, romantic story full of sentiment and inspired by the imagery of the French Riviera: Matisse’s juxtaposition of colours and photographer George Hoyningen-Huene’s graphic portrayals of elegant young women in swimming costumes. She also thought of Riva, as a symbol of a certain way of life.
